Pointing our kids to Jesus.
When you arrive at Northpoint Vineyard for the first time, a welcome team member will show you to the back of our atrium where Kidspoint check-ins are located. There, a Kidspoint leader will gather some basic information, print security name tags for both you and your child, walk with you and your child to their classroom, and introduce you to your child’s teachers. After service, you can pick up your child in their classroom with the security tag you were given before dropping them off.
Kidspoint leaders contact parents personally or via text message during the service if there are any issues or concerns with a child.
Our church partners with the ORANGE organization to provide your kids with Bible- based, engaging, strategic, weekly lessons.
ORANGE is strategic about inciting wonder for preschoolers and provoking discovery for elementary aged children. Orange combines the two primary influences that impact a kid’s life: Church and Family and connects parents and leaders with the same strategy and same end goal.
Children ages 0-1 are loved on, cared for, and prayed for during service. Volunteers work with parents to individualize a schedule for each of our littlest kiddos.
We love your preschooler’s energy and excitement, and give them a place to worship, learn, connect, and play!
Our preschooler’s learn three core truths:
- God made me.
- God loves me.
- Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
Time in our Toddlers and Preschool classrooms include fun, age-appropriate learning activities, interactive worship, an engaging video Bible lesson, and a time for prayer.
Elementary students are taking important steps in their relationship with God every week. We want to make the most of every opportunity to empower them as they learn to worship, pray, lead, and love.
Our elementary students three core truths:
- I need to make the wise choice. (Wisdom)
- I can trust God no matter what. (Faith)
- I should treat others the way I want to be treated. (Friendship)
Our elementary program starts with engaging station time, then moves on to an introductory activity, followed by a large group worship and teaching time, small group activities and discussion questions that drive home the core truth of the lesson, and a time for prayer.
Each of our age groups provide parents with a monthly Parent CUE to give support during each stage of life. Each Parent CUE provides a summary of the weekly lesson and suggested activities that parents can easily do with their children during the regular rhythm of their week.
The Parent Cue app is available for iOS and Android devices:
We want you to know that your children’s safety is of utmost importance to us! Each volunteer has been background-checked and trained. Our Kidspoint leadership team includes service supervisors whose job is to perform routine checks on our entire kids facility to ensure all classrooms are safe, secure, and effective at ministering to your kids.
Our check-in process is also designed to create a safe place for your kids. When you sign in to Kidspoint at our easy to use kiosk, you’ll be given a unique security tag that is required for pick up. If your child were to have a need during service, our team will contact you via text to notify you.
And, if there are any allergy accommodations or special needs that we can assist with, our team is ready to help. We love working with families to give their kids a great experience with Jesus.
Kidspoint really is the place to be! Our children are learning about Jesus, growing in community, and having a blast doing it! If you want to get in on the action, and make a BIG impact through little lives, join the Kidspoint team. Contact Katie at firstname.lastname@example.org for more info.
